I borrowed someone’s 1978 Lincoln continental. It was a rusty rose color. I drive it to Marysville. I noticed something odd about the trunk cover. It looked normal but really it was made of paper. Maybe wrapping paper quality. And it wasn’t taped in place. Rather there were a few slots and and the paper was folded to hold itself in place. Frankly, any bump or wrong gust could blow the back trunk top off. I probably shouldn’t drive it.
