I Visit my family frequently, and sometimes they take me out. Mostly to eat, but we do other stuff to.
I’m going to create a page of my findings in Sacramento and the surrounding places.

Burgers and Shakes
Formerly the counterfeit fairy queen. Possibly the same owners, updated. Nice. Ambiance - a nice Dairy Queen or McDonald’s

- #13 - pastrami - fried pastrami, onions put on a French roll with lots of mustard, pickles and hot peppers. 10/10
- Next time - add tomatoes, no peppers, light mustard
- Alabama mud glacier - great! Chocolate shake with pecans and brownie chunks - 10/10

- Spicy Fried chicken sandwich - chicken patty was less than 1/4 inch all the way through. Still good. No doe ball - 8/10
20240119 - I had a jelepeno burger, extra lettice, Rhonda had chicken strips.
- Jelepeno burger - was a double patty, but still couldn’t tell. Lettice is shredded, hardly noticeable. Still had does bites. Very filling
- Chicken strips - crunchy crust. Twice fried?
- Fries - crinkle cut overcooked - 10/10
- Chocolate heathbar smoothy - perfect 10/10
20231231 - I had a western burger, fries and shake
- Western burger - good, however, the bun is large and coupled with the onion rings was kind of do-ey. When I think about it. So was the last burger. Maybe more toppings are needed.
- Fries - crinkle cut overcooked - 10/10
- Chocolate heathbar smoothy - perfect 10/10
Next time - 2 patties and extra lettice.
20230325 - I had a burger and shake
- Ortega burger - single pattie, whopper sized. Very very juice and fresh. I could hardly taste the Ortega with all the other stuff. 9/10
- Chocolate brownie shake - 10/10
The Char Market
Corner of Mission and Whitney. Ambiance - small strip mall, single unit, 10 tables 8 chairs, some benches. Kind of dirty - 3/10

2024 0713 - to go order. Great sauses
- Steak char plate - layer of grilled sqash. Then layer of meat + rice + sauses - 10/10 - next time no squash
- Steak Taco salad - layers of lettice, beans, cheese, steak. + stale shell delivered seperately. Next time - throw shell away.
note: steak had no fat, was tender, no grissle, giant serving and had a wonderful smokey flavor. 10/10 - next time no shell.
Dantorelli’s
Ambiance - you get in line to place an order. Indoor seating, 2 outdoor seating. Old nicer residential neighborhood - 10/10

4/21/24 - great, 3 dining area. We are outside. Great ambiance. It’s a crepe place.
- Chicken Chipotle sandwhich. Great - double grilled, nicely scorched. Lots of stuffs and sauce. Marvelous
Mesa Mercado - 6241 fair oaks
Ambiance - great indoor dining, great outdoor dining. Indoors is open air market, with several other spots for businesses, including a coffee shop, a gelato place, and a pie place (sadly the pie place looks like it’s days are numbered) - 10/10
