I was taking a typing class. It was how to use an IBM Selectric.
We were to the section where we were setting tabs position. Apparently you set tabs by tying knots with a piece of wire. Rather than just tie a knot. The instructor was clumsily putting up a poster. 5 or 6 graphics with a lot of words. There was even a acronym. LUD, or something like that. Odd fewer letters than the chart. Why format the instruction just say knot?
The typing exercises want me to talk about my father. This is awkward. And everything they ask puts him in an unfavorable light. The had questions like.. when did your dad meet your mom? If they divorced then when and why? How often do you see your dad? What do you do when your dad visits?
I more have about a half a page of stuff. But then I realize almost half of that stuff is names and years of vhs tape. Now the paper is like a shelf with typing in the first and last rows and tapes in the middle.
