We are visiting Sami, but he is busy.
We’re in a cafeteria. Standard school type. Long tables, long benches. The place where you line up for food is closed and replaced with vending machines. The chip and candy bar variety.
On one of the tables is a book that someone left behind… A book by Judy Bloom. The title is in one of those fancy fonts that no one can read. I remember reading one of her books after collage - a mystery. Not so good but an easy read. I grab it… I will read it and return it. Hmm it’s hard bound and there are several newspaper clippings in it of random articles carefully cut out. Maybe I can find a pattern. A mystery within a mystery… I find that very funny with a challenge.
Now we’re at a party house where Sami is at. There’s maybe 10 people here, Sami’s out back. But I find myself checking things out.
From the outside it looks like a 3 car garage. But really, there’s a two car garage for the gas powered engines, the third garage door opens into the living room. This is where you park your electric car. Hmm it keeps the charger safe. Electric cars don’t have as bad a smell but what about the third space?. Hmm is that space counted as sq feet?
There are boards on the floor Next to the indoor garage door maybe 15 feet long into the living room. Kind of sloppy but meant to be ornamental? Maybe a boundary marker for the car. There’s a small something at the end of the ornament, a handle. When I turn it the garage door opens. Cool.
I go further inside on the kitchen counter is a giant cutting block (24x30) on it is something called medical clay. I guess medical students practice with this stuff. There’s a piece of clay about 18x18x1 - hmm it looks more like a chunk of wax. On that is a second piece about 2x3x1 which is softer.
They are testing a new tool. It’s like a salad tong but made with one piece of metal. It seems like a better design would had been tweezers, but it’s scissor shaped and this is what they are testing.
Someone gives me the tongs. It’s not heavy but it’s big - maybe 18 inches long. Where tweezers you just push then together, this is more like scissors. But where scissors come from left and right, these come from angles.
I guess the game is to use those tongs to grab the small piece of medical clay without damaging either piece of clay using that wierd medical tong.
I don’t want to play, Rhonda and Sami are out back and I want to catch up with them. Maybe I’ll read the first couple of pages of the book that I found.

A new tongs made with one piece of metal. It's not heavy but it's big - maybe 18 inches long. It bends so you squeeze at an angle.
I am using the tong to grab a black block 1x2x3 which is sitting on a white block 1x18x18
