I’m at the office getting product ready for our next rollout. The item… ear rings. They’ve interviewed for a salesperson. An angry read head.
I get pulled off to take a look at moving a statue. It’s a 35 foot flimsy wooden statue of a giraffe. It looks like attempting to set it flat would break it. It can’t be moved. But there movers have just arrived - they are going to transport it upright. They’ve already broken one of the legs off. It’s way taller than the power lines crossing the driveway. Trust us… they say.
Actually, I think it’s time to scram. I go across the street to the peach tree mall. That is where we will test market our new line. The new salesman is just finishing up at the the first place - some used stuff. He is screaming at the lady owner who looks very similar to the salesman. I’m guessing it didn’t go very well.
I ask ‘What went wrong?’ She’s a McIntire!
No, I mean when do you think things started going downhill? “It’s hot outside.” there were several more questions all with nonsense answers.
I’m thinking he showed up with merchandise on a target bag with stuff poorly wrapped in tissue paper, maybe we need a better presentation. Maybe on of those jewelry cases.
Also maybe a different salesman as well. He goes next door. Another shop of nicknacks. They have 1 2x3 jewelry display of earrings. This place has potential, the yelling has already started. I think it’s time for me to go.
The mall I’m sure is just as bad now as it was 30 years ago, but I’ll walk through it. Maybe there will be another interesting business.

No definitive colors but like trying to give this an appearance of different colored fog, but just on the colors.
